During his time on the City Council, Joe’s work included hosting a community forum on the future of the Zoo, improvements to 15th and 16th Street under Highway 80, planning for the Broadway business area, the design and construction of the Southside Park Community Center, the installation of traffic calming measures on Vallejo Way, the installation of landscape median on Freeport Boulevard, the fencing surrounding the Old Cemetery, Regional Transit bus service for Pocket/Greenhaven students.

Joe Yee Thanks Denise- I've spent my time as planning commissioner working to make Sacramento a more vibrant, unique community. From big projects like the R street Cooridor to small ones like the New Helvetia Brewing company, I'm proud of the progress I've been apart of as a public servant.
