An Architect and Planner for 35 Years
Joe has been an architect and small business owner in Sacramento for over 35 years. He and his firm have designed the renovation of schools, libraries and other Sacramento landmarks like the Memorial Auditorium. As chair of the Planning Commission and the Sacramento 2030 General Plan Committee, Joe understands how to build sustainable, neighborhood-oriented cities. Under his leadership Sacramento adopted a general plan with a vision that “every neighborhood will be a desirable place to live because of its walkable streets, extensive tree canopy, range of housing choices, mixed use neighborhood centers, great schools, parks and recreation facilities, and easy access to Downtown and jobs.
